Refund policy

At Rebecca Oszczyk Hair, I understand that wedding plans can change. This policy explains how bookings, deposits, cancellations, postponements and refunds are handled.

1. Securing your booking

​

Your wedding hair date is secured once your booking has been confirmed and the required booking payment or deposit has been received.

Until payment has been received, your date is not guaranteed to be held.

​

All bookings made through the website are subject to these Booking & Refund Terms.

​

2. Booking payments and deposits

​

A booking payment/deposit is required to secure your wedding date.

​

The amount required will be clearly shown at the time of booking.

​

Because your wedding date is reserved exclusively for you and prevents me from accepting another booking for that date, the booking payment may be non-refundable if you subsequently cancel your booking, subject to your statutory rights.

3. Cancellation by you

​

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact Rebecca Oszczyk Hair as soon as possible.

​

Cancellation charges may apply depending on how far in advance your wedding date is cancelled.

​

More than 12 weeks before the wedding:
Any remaining balance that has not yet been paid will be cancelled. The initial booking payment/deposit will normally be non-refundable.

Within 12 weeks of the wedding:
The booking payment/deposit will remain non-refundable and any outstanding balance may become payable, depending on the circumstances and how much work has already been undertaken in preparation for your booking.

​

Within 14 days of the wedding:
The full outstanding balance will normally remain payable if the booking is cancelled within 14 days of the wedding.

​

These terms reflect the fact that a wedding date is reserved specifically for you and may prevent me from accepting other work.

​

4. Postponement or change of wedding date

​

If you need to change your wedding date, please contact me as soon as possible.

​

I will always try to accommodate a new date where I am available.

​

If I am available for your new date, your existing booking payment may be transferred to the new date.

​

If I am unavailable for the new date, the change will be treated as a cancellation and the original booking payment will normally be non-refundable.

Any change of date is subject to my availability.

5. Bridal hair trials

​

If you book and pay for a bridal hair trial separately, the same cancellation terms will apply to the trial appointment.

​

If you cancel or reschedule your trial with reasonable notice, I will always try to offer an alternative appointment where possible.

​

If a trial is cancelled at short notice or you fail to attend, the trial payment may be non-refundable.

​

6. Cancellation by Rebecca Oszczyk Hair

​

In the unlikely event that I need to cancel your booking and I am unable to provide the agreed services, you will receive a full refund of any payments made to me for services that have not been provided.

​

I will make every reasonable effort to help you find a suitable alternative hairstylist where possible, but I cannot guarantee the availability or suitability of another stylist.

​

My liability will be limited to the amount you have paid for the affected services, except where the law requires otherwise.

​

7. Wedding day changes

​

Wedding day timings, locations and the number of people requiring hair styling should be confirmed in advance.

​

Additional services, people or significant changes requested on the wedding day may incur additional charges and will be subject to availability.

​

I cannot guarantee that additional services requested on the wedding day can be accommodated.

​

8. Late arrival

​

Please ensure that you and members of your bridal party are ready at the agreed time.

​

Late arrival may reduce the time available for styling. I will always do my best to accommodate delays, but I cannot guarantee that the full service can be completed if the agreed schedule is significantly affected.

​

Where additional time or travel is required as a result of delays, additional charges may apply.

​

9. Travel and additional charges

​

Any agreed travel fees, accommodation costs or additional charges will be communicated to you before your booking is confirmed.

​

These charges may be non-refundable once they have been incurred.

​

10. Refunds

​

Where a refund is due, it will normally be made using the original payment method.

​

Refunds will be processed within a reasonable period after the refund has been agreed.

​

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

​

11. Exceptional circumstances

​

I understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, particularly when planning a wedding.

​

If you experience exceptional circumstances that affect your booking, please contact me as soon as possible. I will consider the circumstances on a case-by-case basis and will always try to find a fair and reasonable solution where possible.

12. Your statutory rights

​

Nothing in this Booking & Refund Policy is intended to remove or restrict any rights you may have under UK consumer protection law.

​

If any part of this policy conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights will apply.
